A heartfelt Celebration of Gratitude by the Filipino Community to Australia, expressing deep gratitude to the nation that has welcomed us with open arms and with their hearts.

As Filipino migrants—whether by choice or necessity—we have embraced the opportunities Australia has offered, and we are profoundly thankful for the generosity, kindness, and inclusivity of the Australian people.

Through SALAMAT PO! Australia, we aim to celebrate not only our shared experiences but also the rich tapestry of cultures that make up our community. This annual event will be a joyful expression of unity, respect, and cultural exchange, recognising the First Nations people and the diverse backgrounds that shape our collective identity.

Whilst NO WORDS can express the gratitude we feel to Australia,

Australia Day provides a meaningful occasion to honour this gratitude and for us to shout with our hearts SALAMAT PO! Australia (Thank you, Australia).
